We are looking for a Communications and Social Media Manager to lead social media, creative and digital communications at Leeds Beckett University. This is a pivotal management role in the communications and campaigns team. You will work with colleagues across our service and the wider university to develop and deliver the social media, brand and digital strategy.
Your skills will support campaign development and delivery, built around creative content designed to connect with our audiences and strengthen the university brand. In this role you will plan, manage and deliver a broad programme of creative, digital and social content supporting the university's strategic priorities.
Working with colleagues across communications, marketing, academic schools, alumni and events, you will ensure that our integrated campaigns and stories are aligned with audience needs, with a focus on students, colleagues, alumni and partners. You will use insight and feedback to evaluate impact, improve delivery and demonstrate the value of our content in enhancing brand reputation, strengthening relationships and supporting recruitment.
It's a hands-on position in a busy, creative and supportive team where your skills will support high-profile campaigns, celebrate student successes, promote research and drive engagement. Strong project management skills are essential, as you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, often to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
