We have an exciting temporary opportunity in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; we are looking to appoint a pro‑active and enthusiastic Course Administrator on a temporary basis (until 31st August 2026), to cover a secondment.

The postholder will provide efficient administrative support for courses and work closely with academic colleagues to ensure a positive student experience throughout the whole of the student journey. Duties will include:

  • Proactive management of course administration
  • Acting as a key contact point for students and the course team
  • Maintaining and updating localised and centralised records
  • Organising and servicing of meetings
  • Compiling reports

The successful candidate will possess high level spreadsheet, database and word processing skills; the ability to keep accurate records; excellent communication skills and a drive to provide outstanding customer service. They will also be able to prioritise workloads under pressure and demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
