As a growing business, we are looking to expand our team and are seeking a Junior Project Manager to help us deliver exceptional service and drive projects to successful completion.
Role Overview
As a Junior Project Manager, you will support senior team members in delivering electrical installations for office fit-outs across Central London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your project management skills within the fast-paced and exciting field of electrical contracting. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in managing client relationships, overseeing site operations, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist in the day-to-day management of electrical installations for CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors, helping to maintain positive working relationships and ensuring that client requirements are met.
- Site Coordination: Support the senior project managers in coordinating site activities, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and managing the schedules of on-site teams.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, timelines, and budgets. Ensure all project records are up to date and accessible.
- Health & Safety: Assist in ensuring that health and safety protocols are followed on-site, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
- Budget Monitoring: Track project costs and help ensure that projects stay within budget, assisting with procurement and managing invoices as required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A keen interest in project management, particularly within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
- A strong desire to learn and develop your skills in managing commercial projects.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or office fit-outs is desirable, though not essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
