With decades of experience delivering high‑quality projects, the company operates across multiple sectors including residential new build, regeneration, planned maintenance, and specialist refurbishment.
Role Overview
As a Design Compliance Manager, your role is a leadership one which requires high levels of probity, diligence, professionalism, and acceptance of responsibility on your part. As well as excellent stakeholder management skills, a detail‑oriented mindset, and a sound understanding of residential construction methodologies in a design and build environment.
Responsibilities
- You and your team’s primary responsibility is the management and supervision of the design team’s (DT) performance, which includes the consultants and sub‑contractor design, managing the quality and delivery of the detailed design (and on occasion planning) information, ensuring the information is compliant with legislation, our contract and is designed efficiently and economically.
- This role covers all stages of the design process, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations including High‑Risk Buildings (HRB’s), planning approvals, discharge of regulatory conditions, and NHBC/LABC Warranty and British Standard Requirements.
- To take ownership of all design management & coordination level responsibilities for a project assigned to you by your line manager.
- To plan, manage & coordinate your Design Consultants teams and Design Sub‑Contractors design information.
