About the Role
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our UK team, reporting to the UK Country Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of Key Accounts.
- Strengthen client relationships by offering tailored solutions, advice on new products, services, and market trends.
- Define and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the UK Country Manager, taking ownership of assigned Key Accounts’ turnover.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, especially in the specification channel and hospitality sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesalers, contractors, and installers within your network.
- Oversee project management and development to ensure successful implementation.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a proven track record in specification sales and project-based work.
- Demonstrable experience in the UK lighting market, with strong knowledge of the distribution structure.
- Established relationships with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, and contractors.
- Strong ability to identify new business opportunities, particularly in hospitality and office segments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and sales skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Goal-driven, with the ability to generate added value for clients.
- Technical knowledge and an appreciation of lighting design.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Europe (headquarters in Barcelona) and international trade shows.
