The Team
As an SDET at Ledger, you\’ll collaborate with a team of QA Automation Engineers to create tools and processes that enable product squads to independently manage test automation and take responsibility for the quality of their deliverables.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing tools to improve the quality assurance process for all contributors of the SDLC
- Building new and maintaining existing workflows for CI/CD pipelines
- Creating and developing test automation frameworks
- Developing and implementing processes and approaches for effective automation testing
- Integrating automated testing into Quality Assurance practices
- Conducting workshops and pair‑programming sessions with different teams
- Communicating with product squads about improvements following the strategy, sharing experiences, best practices, and lessons learned
What We’re Looking For
- Hands‑on experience in developing test automation solutions using TypeScript
- Experience with a web automation testing framework such as Playwright, Detox, or Selenium
- Proficiency in front‑end and back‑end testing tools and approaches
- Good knowledge of development processes, design patterns, and programming principles
- Prior experience designing workflows and building CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Team player and able to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to think outside the box and be innovative by keeping abreast of new trends, identifying opportunities to bring in change for business benefit
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
