Ledbury Health Partnership are offering an opportunity to join our friendly, forward thinking and supportive team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative salaried GP who shares our ambition, values and commitment to patient centred care.

We are offering a competitive salary to a GP available to work up to 7 sessions per week. We use EMIS Web, Docman 10 and AccuRx; and we offer telephone and face to face consultations. We are now using Klinik for total triage, so experience of triage would be helpful, but not essential.

Main duties of the job

You will have a well managed workload with predictable working hours and a well-resourced Duty rota. Importantly, there is a daily coffee meeting at 11am for all GPs and the duty clinical team. We have an administrative team to support clinical workload; they screen all incoming documents and code and filter them before they are passed on to GPs. A Biomedical Scientist filters the bulk of lab results, and we use GP Automate, an AI tool to help with this process too.

About us

We have a practice population of 13750 and we cover the town of Ledbury itself plus the surrounding villages and hamlets. We are consistently high QOF achievers, we have a Good CQC rating and we are a training practice, so we have a combination of FY2s and trainees at different times. We are a 5 Partner GP Team supported by multidisciplinary clinical team of Salaried GPs, Nurses, HCAs, Paramedic, ANP, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technician, a Biomedical Scientist, a First Contact Practitioner and an experienced admin team. Our values are: peer support, high quality patient centred care, innovation, continuous service improvement, compassion and good humour! As part of the East Herefordshire PCN we work collaboratively with neighbouring Practices. The Practice is situated in the market town of Ledbury at the foot of the Malvern Hills, surrounded by idyllic countryside. There are excellent transport links (train station, bus services, M50 providing direct link to M5 for travel from Birmingham or Bristol). There are excellent schools within the area and a wide variety of housing options available.
