We’re looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Pilates Instructor to join our team at Sidmouth Leisure Centre. About the role
As a Pilates Instructor, you’ll deliver safe, effective and enjoyable classes for a wide range of abilities, creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels supported and motivated. You’ll play an important part in helping our members improve their strength, flexibility and overall wellbeing, while contributing to the positive, inclusive atmosphere of the centre.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging Pilates sessions for mixed‑ability groups
- Creating a welcoming, inclusive and motivating class environment
- Providing guidance and adaptations to support different fitness levels
- Ensuring all sessions are delivered safely and in line with health and safety standards
- Building strong relationships with participants to encourage retention and progression
- Supporting the wider fitness team and promoting classes where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
- A recognised Pilates qualification
- A passion for health, fitness and supporting others
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to engage and motivate a wide range of participants
- Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends (depending on class timetable)
