Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for hospitality? We are delighted to offer an exciting part-time opportunity for a Finance Assistant – Hospitality to become a key member of our dynamic finance team, working across Exmouth Pavilion and the Woodbury Support Office under the guidance of our Finance Manager. This part-time role (25 hours per week) offers the ideal balance for those seeking flexibility and variety, working in both the Exmouth Pavilion and the Woodbury Support Office. Your responsibilities will include processing supplier and sales invoices, assisting with cash handling, and supporting month-end financial activities. You will also respond promptly and professionally to finance queries, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly behind the scenes. You will collaborate closely with site managers and the wider finance team to uphold financial compliance and contribute to a values-driven culture where everyone feels empowered and well-informed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and systems for hospitality sites
- Process supplier and sales invoices, and support month-end activities
- Provide finance and payroll support to on-site colleagues
- Assist with compliance and the implementation of finance policies
- Contribute to wider finance projects and reporting
- Build strong working relationships across site teams and be a supportive, visible presence
Qualifications
- Experience in finance processing or administration, ideally within hospitality or a customer-focused environment
- Strong organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently across sites
