Support the Culinary Team at Exmouth Pavilion. Join Exmouth Pavilion’s Theatre Café on the beautiful seafront, serving locals and visitors with delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. We’re seeking an enthusiastic Second Chef to support our kitchen and deliver a high-quality dining experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Your Role
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare fresh dishes for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and pre-theatre meals, following recipes for consistent quality.
- Work efficiently to keep service smooth, reduce waste, and maintain safety.
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and record-keeping per the Safer Food, Better Business framework.
- Suggest new menu ideas and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in hospitality or catering.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and strong food safety standards.
- Great teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude toward learning and supporting others.
- Ability to work quickly, with attention to detail.
- Passion for delivering excellent food to all guests.
