About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play an important part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods. You’ll work closely with our chefs and wider team, helping prepare food, supporting service, and making sure the kitchen stays clean, organised and ready to go. You will get involved in a variety of tasks, from food preparation and putting together grab‑and‑go items for airport passengers, to pot washing, cleaning and stock rotation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items for passengers.
- Support chefs during service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Wash pots, clean equipment and manage food stock rotation.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high standards.

Hours, Shifts & Travel
This is a fixed‑term Summer Team role, running from April to October, with 40 hours per week. Shifts can start as early as 2:30 am; reliable personal transport is essential. Any hours worked between 2:30 am and 6:00 am are paid at time and a half (£19.82 per hour).
