Are you reliable, hardworking and happy to play an important behind‑the‑scenes role in a busy leisure and hospitality environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for two Cleaners to help keep Ocean Exmouth looking its best across the entire complex. This is a vital role where your work helps ensure our customers, families and colleagues enjoy a safe, clean and positive experience every time they visit.

About the Role

As a Cleaner at Ocean Exmouth, you’ll help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site. You’ll work across a range of public areas including floors, stairways, toilets and changing spaces, ensuring everything is clean, fresh and well-presented.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Cleaning toilets and changing areas
  • Following cleaning schedules and safety procedures
  • Using your initiative to identify areas needing extra attention

Some tasks will be completed independently, while others are part of a wider team effort but every task you carry out plays a key role in the smooth running of the centre.

Working Pattern (Alternate Weeks)

We have two roles available, working on an alternating weekly rota working 4-hour shifts:

  • Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday – early shifts; Monday & Tuesday – 11:00am start
  • Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday – 11:00am start; Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 2:00pm start

This pattern then repeats. Please note: This role includes regular daytime shifts during the week, so it may particularly suit individuals looking for work that fits around other commitments. Applicants must be able to commit to the full alternating rota and be available for both morning and afternoon shifts as outlined above.

About You

You take pride in your work and understand the importance of a clean environment for customer experience and wellbeing. You’re reliable, organised and comfortable working independently, while also being part of a supportive team.

You’ll also bring:

  • A positive, can‑do attitude
  • Good attention to detail
  • A strong sense of responsibility

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential—full training will be provided. What matters most is your commitment, consistency and willingness to get stuck in.
