Are you friendly, energetic and passionate about creating great experiences for children and families? We're looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Assistants to join our Soft Play team at Ocean in Exmouth.
This is a fun and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll help create a safe, welcoming and exciting environment for our young visitors, support birthday parties and events, and ensure every family leaves with a smile.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- A positive, friendly and approachable attitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A genuine enjoyment of working with children and families.
- The ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment.
- A proactive, can-do approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.
- Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A satisfactory DBS check, completed before your start date.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests visiting Ocean Soft Play.
- Welcome customers and ensure everyone enjoys a safe and positive experience.
- Support and help deliver children's birthday parties and special events.
- Supervise the soft play area, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Serve food and drinks in line with food hygiene standards where required.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Carry out opening and closing procedures as required.
- Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Support emergency and first aid procedures when necessary.
- Complete all required training and contribute to the success of the wider Ocean team.
