As a Duty Fitness & Wellbeing Coach, you'll:
- Play a key role in supporting members on their fitness and wellbeing journeys

The Role
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as Duty Manager during shifts
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the club
- Delivering gym inductions, programmes and fitness coaching
- Leading and motivating members to achieve their goals
- Supporting classes, personal trainers and member engagement activities
- Welcoming prospective and existing members and conducting club tours
- Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Ensuring health, safety and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times
This role includes evening and weekend working, as well as lone working responsibilities.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about health and fitness, leads by example and enjoys working with people. You will have:
- A Level 2 Fitness Qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience within a fitness, leisure or customer-facing environment
- Experience supervising or leading shifts
- A positive, proactive and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to take ownership and make decisions when leading a shift
Essential
- First Aid at Work Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Fire Marshal qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
- Group Exercise Instructor qualifications
- Previous leisure or health club experience
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
