Tor Bar at Exeter Airport is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our vibrant hospitality team. Working in a unique airport environment, you'll meet travellers from across the UK and beyond, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience before they take off.
Please note: Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to licensing regulations and have access to reliable transport as shifts can start very early in the morning.
About the RoleAs a Bar Team Member, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high operational standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Taking orders, processing payments, and handling customer enquiries
- Promoting menu items and making recommendations to customers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented bar environment
- Restocking supplies and supporting day-to-day operations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the airport hospitality team when required
- Following all health, safety, food hygiene, and licensing requirements
As an airport operation, our working hours are aligned with flight schedules. Shifts may start as early as 2:30am. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required. Time and a half is paid for hours worked between 12:00am and 6:00am. Reliable transport is essential due to early starts and occasional late finishes.
