Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop mechanical designs for data centres, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Project Support: Assist in managing projects by creating schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Technical Analysis: Perform analyses and simulations to enhance data centre efficiency and energy use.

Documentation: Maintain detailed engineering documents, including schematics and technical reports.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure mechanical systems meet industry standards.

Maintenance: Develop strategies to ensure the reliability of data centre equipment.

Collaboration: Work with architects, project managers, and contractors to meet project objectives.

Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated experience as an Associate or Associate Director with expertise in client engagement, project management, and mechanical delivery within the data centre sector.

Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, Bachelor\’s, or Master\’s level).

Ideally chartered or working towards professional membership.

Proficient in BIM processes, IES, and other design software.

Strong understanding of building regulations and a commitment to sustainable design principles.
