Knightsbridge, London (Hybrid considered)
£50k base | £90k–£110k OTE uncapped
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
LEC Robotics is growing rapidly across multiple UK sectors, as organisations face sustained pressure from staffing shortages, rising operational costs, service consistency challenges and increasing demand for automation. We work with customers across Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Leisure and other operationally intensive environments, delivering real, deployed robotics solutions that solve practical, day-to-day problems.
We’re now looking for a commercially strong B2B salesperson who already has access, credibility, and relationships within at least one of these sectors, and can use that foothold to open doors and close high-value robotics deals.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Sell proven, deployed robotics solutions (not early-stage or experimental tech)
- Focus on one core sector where you already have contacts and buying access
- Typical deal values: £100k–£500k+
- Long-term, multi-site contracts with expansion and repeat revenue
- Supported by technical specialists, pilots, and live demonstrations
- This is a hands-on new business role, ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, navigating complex buying environments, and closing solution-led, consultative deals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Owning new business sales into the relevant sector end-to-end
- Leveraging your existing network to access decision-makers and buying groups
- Engaging senior stakeholders across Operations, Estates, Facilities, Procurement, and Finance
- Running discovery meetings focused on operational pain points, ROI, and service resilience
- Positioning robotics solutions across cleaning, logistics, service delivery, food & beverage and facilities support (sector dependent)
- Managing pilots, demos, and proof-of-concept deployments
- Leading commercial negotiations and contract close
- Building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline in HubSpot
- Representing LEC Robotics at relevant sector events and meetings
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Proven B2B sales experience selling products or solutions (not SaaS)
- Established access and credibility within at least one target sector, such as:
- Healthcare (NHS, private hospitals, clinics)
- Education (universities, colleges, MATs)
- Hospitality, Leisure, or Food & Beverage
Nice to have
- Experience selling capital equipment, facilities solutions, or operational technology
- Exposure to regulated or procurement-led environments
- Experience supporting pilot projects or trial deployments
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- First 3 months: hot lead pipeline built, key accounts engaged
- 3-6 months: active pilots and late-stage opportunities
- 6-12 months: multiple closed contracts and expansion opportunities
WHY JOIN LEC ROBOTICS?
- Fast-growing UK & European robotics business
- Products already solving real-world staffing and operational problems
- Direct access to engineering and leadership — no red tape
- Clear progression as the education vertical grows
- Uncapped commission with realistic OTE
