About LEC Robotics

LEC Robotics is a robotics company focused on deploying commercial automation into real-world environments. We work with advanced robotic systems for hospitality, retail, and commercial spaces, with an initial focus on automated coffee solutions and service robotics. We are a fast-moving, early-stage business backed by long-standing commercial experience. This role is suited to someone who wants responsibility, pace, and the opportunity to build meaningful commercial traction from the ground up.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to drive commercial adoption of our automated coffee systems across London. This is not a purely strategic or managerial role. You will be selling directly, managing your own pipeline, meeting customers face-to-face, running demonstrations, and closing deals yourself. You will be responsible for identifying suitable locations, engaging decision-makers, qualifying commercial viability, and converting interest into signed agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and approach potential customers across London
  • Sell automated coffee systems into commercial environments including hospitality, retail, offices, and mixed-use spaces
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed agreement
  • Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations
  • Qualify locations based on footfall, demand, and commercial suitability
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline
  • Work closely with operations to ensure deployments are deliverable
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
  • Contribute to refining sales messaging, pricing approaches, and go-to-market strategy

Must-Have Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales of physical products or equipment
  • Experience selling into commercial environments such as hospitality, retail, offices, or property
  • Comfortable with field sales and face-to-face selling across London
  • Hands-on closer who runs deals end-to-end
  • Experience working in fast-moving or startup-style environments
  • Strong organisation, follow-up discipline, and commercial awareness
  • Experience selling coffee machines, vending machines, kiosks, self-service systems, copiers, POS hardware, or similar commercial equipment is highly relevant.

What We Are Looking For

  • Someone who wants to sell, not manage others selling
  • Comfortable working without layers of process
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially driven
  • Interested in growing with the business and taking on more responsibility over time

Compensation

  • Base salary: Β£55,000–£60,000 per year plus strong performance-based commission
  • Strong commission structure tied directly to closed deals
  • Clear opportunity to increase earnings through performance

Location: London (office-based and field sales)

Employment Type: Full-time
