LEC Robotics designs and deploys commercial robotics systems built for real-world environments. Our focus is on robotics that are reliable, repeatable, and ready for everyday use — systems that integrate into live operations and deliver consistent value at scale. We work at the intersection of robotics, automation, and applied AI, with an emphasis on practical deployment rather than experimentation. Our products are designed to operate in demanding commercial settings, where uptime, usability, and operational fit matter more than novelty.

Location: London (Knightsbridge office-based)

Engagement: Full-time contract

Compensation: £90,000

About the role

LEC Robotics is building a persistent, internal AI agent platform that operates continuously, captures company knowledge, maintains long-term memory, and supports multiple domain-specific AI agents used daily by non-technical staff. This is a systems architecture and delivery role, not a prompt-engineering role and not a marketing automation role. You will design and implement a real, always-on internal AI system that integrates:

  • A hardened agent runtime
  • Proper memory architecture
  • Multiple specialised agents
  • Tooling and integrations
  • Governance, permissions, and auditability

The platform must be usable through Microsoft Teams and Notion, and must be designed to evolve — including the ability to later export memory and behaviour data for research and model development without rebuilding the system.

Required experience

You must demonstrate senior, hands-on experience building real AI systems, including:

  • Agent frameworks or multi-agent architectures in production environments
  • Long-term memory design and retrieval systems
  • LLM integration via API
  • Integration with collaboration and knowledge tools
  • Permissions, safety, and auditability
  • Delivering working systems, not demos

Not suitable for candidates with experience limited to:

  • Prompt engineering only
  • No-code AI automations
  • Basic chatbots without persistent memory
  • Marketing automation without system architecture

Application instructions

Apply by email to talent@lecrobotics.ai with:

  • CV
  • Written explanation (max 500 words) answering: What AI agent or internal AI system have you built that was used in real work? How did you implement long-term memory and retrieval? How did you handle permissions and safety? What would you build in the first 30 days at LEC Robotics?

Applications without the written explanation will not be considered.
