LEC Robotics is rapidly expanding its deployment footprint across the UK and requires a practical, organised, and customer-focused individual to support the installation, deployment, and ongoing operation of robotics systems in live commercial environments.

The Robotics Deployment & Support Technician will be responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and supporting robotics systems across customer sites throughout the UK. This is a hybrid field and support role involving:

  • Robot deployment and setup
  • Customer onboarding and training
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Support ticket management
  • Maintenance and operational support

The role requires a practical, hands-on individual who is comfortable working with technology, solving problems, and communicating professionally with customers. Full product and systems training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Robot Deployment & Installation
  • Deliver and install robots at customer locations
  • Configure systems for live operation
  • Carry out testing, commissioning, and setup procedures
  • Ensure deployment environments meet operational requirements
  • Connect robots to network and cloud management systems
  • Perform operational checks prior to customer handover
  • Customer Training & Onboarding
    • Train customers on daily robot operation
    • Demonstrate startup, shutdown, cleaning, and maintenance procedures
    • Provide operational guidance and best practices
    • Ensure customers are confident using deployed systems independently
  • Support Ticket Management
    • Manage incoming support tickets from customers
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot operational or technical issues remotely where possible
    • Escalate advanced technical issues where required
    • Track issues through to resolution
    • Maintain accurate support and service records
    • Provide professional and timely communication to customers
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
    • Resolve operational or technical faults
    • Replace basic components where required
    • Support software updates and operational checks
    • Attend customer sites for reactive support visits when necessary
  • Operational Support
    • Support deployment planning and logistics coordination
    • Assist with demonstrations, exhibitions, and product showcases
    • Monitor deployed systems and identify operational improvements
    • Maintain professional standards across all customer interactions

    Candidate Profile

    The successful candidate will demonstrate:

    • Comfortable using technology, apps, and software systems
