This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact — ideal for someone who wants to create systems, not inherit them.
THE ROLE
The Ecommerce Sales Manager will own the ecommerce function end-to-end and turn it into a key revenue driver for LEC Robotics. You'll be responsible for launching and scaling online sales channels, optimising marketplaces, and driving growth across platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and our direct website. You will operate with autonomy, move quickly and work closely with the CEO and product teams to shape how our products are sold online globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ecommerce Strategy & Growth
- Build and execute LEC Robotics' ecommerce sales strategy from the ground up
- Identify, test and scale new online sales channels and revenue opportunities
- Drive sustainable revenue growth across all ecommerce platforms
- Marketplace & channel ownership
- Set up, manage and optimise product listings across marketplaces and the DTC site
- Own pricing, promotions, and channel strategy in a competitive, fast-moving market
- Ensure all product pages are highly optimised for conversion (SEO, imagery, copy, and content)
- Sales & Revenue Accountability
- Own ecommerce sales targets, forecasts, and growth metrics
- Develop and execute global expansion strategies across regions and marketplaces
- Use data and experimentation to improve conversion rate, AOV and customer retention
- Design and test bundles, promotions and pricing strategies
- Marketing & Demand Generation
- Plan and execute ecommerce-focused marketing campaigns (ads, launches, promotions, email)
- Work closely with brand and product teams on messaging and positioning
- Drive qualified traffic via paid media, SEO and marketplace advertising tools
- Operations & Optimisation
- Coordinate with fulfillment and logistics partners to ensure smooth, scalable order processing
- Manage inventory planning, demand forecasting and stock optimisation
- Continuously improve the end-to-end customer journey, checkout and post-purchase experience
- Reporting & Decision-Making
- Build and maintain ecommerce dashboards and KPIs
- Provide clear, actionable reporting on performance and growth opportunities
- Use insights to prioritise initiatives and guide strategic decisions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Essential
- Proven experience managing ecommerce sales on platforms such as Amazon, eBay and web-based ecommerce (currently Webflow)
- Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, marketplaces and digital marketing
- Track record of growing revenue for physical, hardware or tech products
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete data
- Highly analytical, hands-on and execution-focused
- Self-starter who enjoys building processes and systems from scratch
- Nice to Have
- Experience in robotics, hardware, or technology startups
- Hands-on experience with Amazon PPC, Google Ads and/or Meta Ads
