LEC AI is hiring a Technical Project Manager to run day-to-day delivery on an AI marketing system built directly with the Group CEO, who designs the systems and writes the build plans himself.Fulham, London, office-based · Full-time and permanent · £40,000 · Reporting to the Group CEO · Three-month probation · Immediate start
About LEC AI
LEC AI is an applied AI company within LEC Group. Our parent, London Export Corporation, has traded internationally since 1951.
We build Donnie, an organisational intelligence platform. It gives a department always-on organisational memory, unifying voice, email, calendar, documents, messages, CRM and meetings into a single live context anyone on the team can query. Donnie entered production in 2026, followed by Bishop, our data intelligence layer.
We are a small team in London shipping to real enterprises. What you build reaches people who depend on it within days, not quarters.
The Role
This role works directly with the Group CEO, who personally pilots the project. He designs the systems, writes the build plans and sets direction daily. Positions this close to the person running the group are rare, and the responsibility that comes with it starts on day one.
We are looking for someone exceptionally organised, fast and technically fluent, who wants that responsibility rather than wanting to grow into it.
The Project
An AI marketing system that turns video into structured data, uses our own prediction model to learn what drives views and sales, and runs dozens of AI agents that create content, publish it and improve on their own results. Further projects follow this one.
What you will do
The sprint is already running, and you will be running it from your first week.Turn direction into work. New plans and documents arrive from the CEO daily. You convert each one into clear tasks with a named owner, a deadline and an explicit definition of done.Track the code. You review daily what is open, merged, deployed and running against real data, and you read pull requests yourself rather than relying on status updates.Run the operating rhythm. Morning check, midday check-ins, the evening merge window, a daily report to the CEO, and a Friday demo.Clear bottlenecks the same day. Access, API keys, accounts, reviews, servers, suppliers. If the project needs something unblocked, you own getting it unblocked.Hold one version of the truth. Every document named, dated, versioned and filed, with superseded versions archived.Carry decisions. You move decisions between the CEO and the engineers throughout the day and make sure everyone is working from the current one.You will work across Claude Code, GitHub, our task system and team channels, from a laptop and a phone.
What the role demands
We would rather be direct about this than have someone discover it in week two. The pace is fast, the volume is large, and the responsibility is real from the first day.
You will inherit a working system: the playbook, trackers and daily routines that run the project today. Your job is to run it, keep it coherent when several things change at once, and improve it in Claude Code — building your own checklists, step-by-step playbooks and status pages so anyone can see where every piece of work stands at any moment.
If that sounds energising rather than alarming, this is the right role for you.
What we are looking for
- EssentialExceptional organisation. This matters more than anything else on this list.
- A strong technical foundation: a computer science or engineering degree, or equivalent experience building software.
- Fluency reading code and pull requests, and a working understanding of git, CI and deployment.
- Daily use of AI coding tools, Claude Code in particular, including to build your own tooling.
- Speed, stamina and composure under pressure.
- DesirableSpoken Mandarin. Much of our team and many of our partners work in Chinese.
- Experience running delivery in a startup or other fast-moving environment.
Terms
£40,000 per annum, full-time and permanent, subject to a three-month probationary period. Based at our Fulham office. Start date immediate.
Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. LEC AI is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
