If you’d like to join our team who deliver extraordinary ‘pinch me’ moments, get in touch! We’re looking for a fractional remote working Management Accountant available for meetings in London / South-East England.

Cycling is at the heart of our customer proposition but not at the expense of enjoyment. We have actively curated a brand that extends from cycling into wider high end lifestyle interests including gastronomy, health & wellness, luxury travel and music.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The role of the Management Accountant is to play a pivotal role in managing LeBlanq’s financial operations.
  • Ensuring accountants perform weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Establishing a system of purchase & sales invoice management and managing the process.
  • Managing weekly pay runs.
  • Managing monthly payroll.
  • Overseeing accountants submit quarterly VAT returns, annual TOMs calculation and managing other tax compliance.
  • Conducting month end close processes, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Working with marketing team to produce guest sales forecasts including variance analysis.
  • Working closely with MD to develop financial models to quickly assess new business opportunities and delivering a rolling forecast to support well considered decision making.
  • Working closely with MD in a financial support capacity to secure additional investment for the company.
  • Update and maintain communication with company investors and board, including regular reports.
  • Creating and maintaining event budgeting, forecasting.
  • Generating monthly management accounts and maintaining cashflow forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reporting for quarterly board meetings.
  • Establishing sales targets and calculating sales commissions.
  • Working closely with the Events & Business Operations Director to enhance financial policies and procedures, promoting a strong framework of financial control and compliance instilling a culture of governance across all areas.
  • Rigorous and regular review of operations balance sheets to ensure a consistent and reasonable approach to accruals and prepayments.
  • Managing operational and financial risk by developing mitigation strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities for profit improvement and seeking maximum financial efficiency.
  • Serving as a primary contact for external auditors.
  • Ability to plug in with accountancy software Xero and our ticketing platforms Shopify and Easol.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

Working Location

The Management Accountant will work remotely. You will be required to be available for in-person meetings one day a week in the London area, and for other ad-hoc meetings as required, so ideally should be based in the South-East of England. The Management Accountant will work on a part-time/fractional basis, equivalent to 2/3 days a week. Usually with one full day in person meeting in London / South East of England, and the other day(s) can be split across the rest of week, working flexibly.

Competitive salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
