Provide technical leadership in delivering end-to-end solutions for Lebara’s digital initiatives as we venture into offering more services for consumers across multiple digital channels. Ensure the current implementation of our digital solutions aligns with industry best practices and standards. Drive improvements in design, processes and implementation to improve operational management, scalability and extensibility.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Delivery Oversight – Lead multiple cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring consistent delivery of high-impact digital products and features aligned with business objectives. Establish clear performance metrics to monitor team velocity, throughput, and quality, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery efficiency. Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure sprint goals are met, dependencies are managed, and teams remain aligned with overall product and architecture strategy.
  • Technical Oversight & Architectural Alignment – Actively participate in enterprise architecture planning; ensure team deliverables align with long-term platform strategies and technical roadmaps. Advocate for engineering best practices, design patterns, and modern software development methodologies including DevOps, CI/CD, and built-in quality. Identify and implement AI use cases to enhance team productivity through automation of business processes and personalized customer experiences.
  • Agile Governance & Process Improvement – Drive Agile maturity within teams and across the organization, champion SAFe or other Agile frameworks for scalability and operational efficiency. Own and maintain agile artefacts and documentation ensuring transparency, traceability, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stakeholder & Partner Engagement – Serve as the primary liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity of priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Evaluate and onboard external development partners or consultants, ensuring technical alignment and cultural fit.
  • Innovation & Product Strategy – Contribute to product vision, release planning, and feature prioritization by bringing technical insight into design discussions. Analyze user feedback, performance metrics, and usage data to recommend enhancements that maximize business impact.
  • Continuous Learning & Team Growth – Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Invest in your own professional development and mentor team members to help them grow their skills and careers.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience & Expertise – 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Proven success in managing web and mobile platform delivery, preferably with experience in CMS-based ecosystems like AEM. Strong background in modern web technologies (e.g., React/React Native, Node.js) and system architecture. Experience with AI/ML initiatives.
  • Technical Leadership – Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools and practices. Strong grasp of system design for scalability, testability, and security. Experience implementing Agile at scale (e.g., SAFe), with a track record of improving team agility and velocity.
  • Soft Skills – Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and translate complex technical concepts into business value. Self-starter with a strategic mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
