Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of AI POCs, powering chat-bots and LLM-based assistants for customers and internal use.
  • Fine-tune and deploy language models locally, design RAG approaches (vector search, knowledge retrieval), and agentic systems.
  • Develop intelligence evaluation processes to determine the quality of LLM responses.
  • Work with product and technology teams to define chat flows, response quality metrics, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the architecture of the AI development stack.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters in CS/ML/AI or a related field.
  • Strong Python experience; familiarity with modern AI tooling and frameworks such as LangChain, LangFuse, vector databases, and LLM orchestration libraries.
  • Experience in RAG, embedding models, transformers, and vector databases.
  • Experience deploying AI or ML models in production, working with microservices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and ML Ops practices.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI/chatbots.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to translate business goals into AI solutions.
  • Stakeholder management, able to work and influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical people.
