Foster Care Associates (The FCA) is an established fostering agency which forms part of the Polaris Community, one of the UK’s largest children’s services providers. The business was born out of an enthusiasm for delivering fostering services to make a positive difference to the lives of looked-after children.

We’ve come a long way since those early days and, over the years, FCA has built a strong reputation for excellence, and now offers a wide range of services to children and families. Our purpose remains the same: ‘to make a positive and lasting difference for children, families and communities’, underpinned by a series of values designed to help us assist children and young people to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to join our wonderful and friendly team. As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the operational, regulatory and financial performance of the region and you will develop and maintain effective relationships with foster parents, local authorities and other relevant agencies.

You should set exemplary standards of behaviour and performance, promoting the vision and values of Foster Care Associates, and work collaboratively with respect and integrity. You will also ensure the region is inspection-ready at all times and can achieve the highest possible outcome from inspection.

You will have a full driving licence and be confident travelling regularly across the region and surrounding areas. At FCA we believe that by working together we can achieve fantastic outcomes for children and young people as can be evidenced by our stability, outcomes for children and inspection results.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly supportive environment and to continue to build on an already highly performing fostering service which continues to develop and grow.

The FCA is an equal opportunities employer and has been awarded Disability Confident Employer status by Jobcentre Plus. The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position.
