What the role will involve?
As Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing a portfolio of strategic accounts across multiple brands and categories, using your strong sales background and commercial mindset to identify opportunities and drive profitable growth. Working across Sales, Product, Merchandising and Marketing, you’ll coordinate teams, influence commercial strategies and build strong customer and brand relationships to maximise performance across the business.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering long-term commercial and brand strategies to drive turnover, gross margin, profitability and sustainable growth across a portfolio of brands.
- Managing and growing strategic customer accounts, identifying new opportunities and developing strong relationships with key retailers, customers and brand partners.
- Developing and delivering sales strategies across multiple channels, including wholesale, amazon & marketplace, direct fulfilment and B2C.
- Working closely with product teams to shape ranges, identify product and category opportunities and support the development of commercially successful products.
- Identifying market, competitor and customer opportunities, using insight and gap analysis to drive brand and product growth
- Coordinating and influencing internal teams across sales, product, buying and marketing to ensure commercial and brand strategies are delivered effectively.
- Supporting the onboarding and development of new brands, creating clear commercial strategies and ensuring they are successfully introduced across relevant channels
- Representing and championing our brands through customer meetings, trade shows, brand launches and presentations, ensuring strong brand presence and maximising commercial opportunities.
- Working with colleagues and partners across the UK and Europe to support the continued growth of our brands.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced sales and brand professional with strong experience managing key accounts, developing brands and driving commercial growth across multiple brands or categories. You'll have a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and coordinate teams across the wider business
- Strong experience in sales and managing key customer relationships.
- Experience in brand management, brand development or commercial account management.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and delivering profitable growth across wholesale, direct fulfilment and B2C.
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
- Knowledge of Wholesale, Direct Fulfilment, Amazon Marketplace and B2C sales channels would be desirable
- Experience within the footwear, apparel or fashion industry would be desirable
- A full UK driving licence
