What the role will involve?
As Brand Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing and growing our brands while ensuring they deliver against commercial and strategic objectives.
You’ll be responsible for
- Developing and delivering long-term business and brand plans to drive sustainable growth
- Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic brands and key commercial accounts
- Working alongside product teams to develop ranges, identify new product opportunities and improve product performance
- Supporting the onboarding and development of new brands within the business
- Delivering integrated sales strategies across all channels
- Working closely with Marketing teams to support seasonal campaigns, product launches and brand activity.
- Collaborating with Merchandising teams to ensure effective forecasting, stock availability and product performance.
- Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities.
- Producing and presenting brand performance updates and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting key customer meetings, trade shows, supplier visits and industry events where required.
- Working with colleagues and partners across the UK and Europe to support the continued growth of our brands.
- Acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring every brand is represented consistently and in line with its positioning.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who combines commercial awareness with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for developing successful brands.
- Experience in brand management, brand development or commercial account management.
- A proven background in sales and managing key customer relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and delivering profitable growth across wholesale, direct fulfilment and B2C.
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and commercial opportunities.
- A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
- Knowledge of wholesale, direct fulfilment, Amazon Marketplace and B2C sales channels would be desirable
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience within the footwear, apparel or fashion industry would be desirable
