The role Leathemarket JMB is looking for an Estates Services Caretaker to join our team and help keep housing estates clean, safe, and welcoming.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in maintaining communal areas for residents.
- Key Responsibilities As an Estates Services Caretaker, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning communal areas including paths, roads, lifts, stairways, balconies, bin areas, and shared spaces.
- Carrying out sweeping, mopping, litter removal, and waste removal tasks.
- Completing seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance, gritting, and snow clearance.
- Safely removing bulky waste and assisting with collection points where required.
- Using cleaning equipment, machinery, chemicals, and PPE safely.
- Reporting health and safety hazards, vandalism, and any concerns across the estates.
- Monitoring areas such as lifts and play spaces, reporting any issues promptly.
