Remarketing Analyst

The Remarketing Department of Leasys is responsible for the disposal of Leasys vehicles returned from customers at the end of contract, ensuring that vehicles are sold promptly to minimise stockholding and maximise sales value opportunities. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and commercial awareness. As this role works within a small team you will be required to assist other members of the team for holiday cover and as workload requires.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate, timely analysis and reporting on all aspects of the Remarketing department.
• Invoicing of used vehicles once proceeds have been received from auction companies.
• Responsible for the development of a dashboard and reports to track KPIs for vehicle sales including sale price vs Cap, days to sell and supplier performance etc.
• To support automation of data flows and recommend improvements to current processes where possible.
• Work with Finance Department to compile regular reporting for Leasys HQ.
• To evaluate the predicted future value of vehicles due back and to recommend which vehicles should be returned early or extended to maximise disposal performance.
• Work with Residual Value Department to provide monthly disposal data as required.
• To deal with external partners such as auction houses, logistics providers, and vehicle inspectors to ensure smooth end-of-contract processes.
• Analyse current and historical sales performance by vehicle manufacturer and vehicle, to aid the decisions of the Remarketing Managers as to what is the best Remarketing channel to maximise the disposal profit on each vehicle.
• To monitor stock with suppliers and report on stock ageing.
• To produce detailed analysis on the sales performance of all vehicles by brand and model.
• Evaluate, monitor and recommend third-party remarketing platforms and partners.
• Maintaining all departmental work instructions and processes up to date and ensure that they remain compliant.
• Assist with all internal and external audits providing all relevant information and support as required.
• Provide support and cover for other team members and administrative duties as required.
• To adhere to the FCA regulations and requirements.
• Such other duties as the management may, from time to time, reasonably require.

Experience and qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel (advance level), Power-Point and Word.
• Minimum of A levels or equivalent.
• Previous analytical role experience essential (12 month minimum).
• Previous experience in software packages like Miles and Calms would be an advantage.
• Previous Experience in vehicle remarketing and fleet management would be an advantage.
