Purpose of the Role
Marketing Comms Specialist is responsible for managing and executing Leasys UK’s data-driven customer and prospect communications across all channels. This includes building and deploying eDMs, lifecycle journeys, automated triggers, and collaborative partner communications. The role ensures CRM data accuracy, effective segmentation, and smooth flow of leads and customer information across systems. By turning data into personalised, timely, and compliant communications, the role supports engagement, conversion, retention, and overall customer experience.

Location
Hybrid (Home-based with two days per week in Pinley House or Botanica office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise customer & prospect databases, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
  • Build, test, and manage data segments for lifecycle journeys, tactical eDMs, renewal communications, and joint partner activity.
  • Ensure the correct flow of customer and lead data between systems (webforms, partner feeds, sales tools, CRM platforms).
  • Monitor performance of data sources and identify opportunities to improve lead or customer quality.

eDM Creation, Deployment & Journey Management

  • Build and deploy customer and prospect eDMs using CRM or marketing automation tools.
  • Produce automated lifecycle communications including:
    • Onboarding and welcome journeys
    • Renewal and retention programmes
    • Service or contract notifications
    • Co‑branded partner communications
  • Ensure all eDMs are accurately built, mobile‑responsive, personalised, and compliant.

Partner Communications & Collaboration

  • Work with Stellantis brands, and external partners to plan and deliver joint CRM communications.
  • Manage the approval, alignment, and versioning of co‑branded eDMs and customer journeys.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with both Leasys and partner brand standards.

Customer Experience, Retention & Brand Reputation

  • Support retention and renewal activity by identifying key customer segments and designing targeted communications.
  • Coordinate digital feedback loops (surveys, review requests) to build Leasys' online reputation.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to maintain a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints.

Compliance, Legal Approval & Governance

  • Review, log, and approve all financial promotions within CRM and email communications.
  • Ensure all messaging adheres to GDPR, FCA, ASA, and internal standards.
  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and internal stakeholders to maintain audit-ready communication processes.

Budget & Administration

  • Raise and track purchase orders for all activity.
  • Report monthly budget status to the Head of Marketing and Finance Controller.
  • Support broader Sales & Marketing tasks where required, especially during peak workloads.

Skills & Competency Profile

  • Experience working with CRM or marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong ability to manage, segment, and analyse customer data.
  • Proven experience creating eDMs or automated communication journeys.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, organisation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Good understanding of GDPR, FCA, and ASA requirements.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in automotive, leasing, or service‑based industries.
  • Knowledge of financial promotions and regulatory processes.
  • Familiarity with HTML email editors or drag‑and‑drop email builders.
  • Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • AS/A‑Level or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Experience in marketing, CRM, data‑driven comms, or email marketing.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in contract hire, leasing, or automotive sectors.
