The Business Intelligence Executive will support Leasys UK’s transition from reactive reporting to a proactive, insight-led Business Intelligence capability. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality analytical outputs, developing automated and visual reporting solutions, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the business using advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Location: Pinley House - 2 days in the office (Coventry)
- Advanced analytical modelling using Microsoft Excel
- Development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reports
- Identification of trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis
- Support business stakeholders with actionable, insight-led recommendations
- Contribution to the ongoing BI transformation roadmap
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting sources
- Continuously develop technical BI and data analytics capability
- Accuracy, reliability and timeliness of reporting and analysis
- Adoption and usage of BI dashboards by stakeholders
- Improved visibility of business performance and trends
- Balancing ad-hoc analysis with recurring reporting deadlines
- Supporting change as the business transitions to a proactive BI model
- Ensuring stakeholder understanding and engagement with BI tools
Education level, professional qualifications, vocational training:
- Data, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related discipline (preferred)
- 2 years’ experience in analytics or BI
- Advanced level using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualisation tools would be ideal but not essential
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, modelling)
- Power BI report development and dashboard creation
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proactive, curious and keen to develop BI expertise
