New Leaf Search has partnered with a FinTech and leasing company in its search for a Senior European Business Development Manager, Brokers. This is a senior, high-impact role within a fast-growing European equipment finance platform. While the successful candidate may be based in the UK, their remit will span the UK, DACH region and Nordics, with responsibility for developing broker-led origination across all three markets. Reporting directly to the Co-CEO, the role offers significant autonomy and commercial influence at a key growth stage of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale broker relationships across the UK, DACH and Nordic regions.
- Originate and execute complex equipment finance transactions from introduction to funding.
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline of broker-led opportunities.
- Position innovative financing solutions including CAPEX, sale-and-leaseback and Pay-per-Use models.
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage multi-jurisdictional deal processes.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years’ experience in asset finance or leasing, with international broker exposure.
- Proven track record of originating and closing sizeable equipment finance transactions.
- A true, aggressive business developer with a hunter mindset, motivated by a deal-based commission structure and commercial results.
- Highly commercial, entrepreneurial and resilient, with the drive to outperform targets.
- Strong structuring, negotiation and stakeholder management capability across European markets.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing. You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
