Our client, one of the UK’s fastest-growing asset financiers, is seeking an additional Broker Business Development Manager to expand the sales in Scotland & North East England.
The role involves driving increased business volumes for hard asset finance from lease brokers, promoting our client’s market-leading service, which includes:
- An easy-to-use, comprehensive app allowing brokers to propose deals, gain credit approval, raise digital documentation for signatures, and receive payouts.
- Most deals are credit approved within 2-4 hours, with same-day payouts once documentation is approved.
Our client supports over 350 brokers or authorized representatives nationwide, providing ample opportunities in the sales area.
You will be responsible for achieving sensible volume and margin targets, which can be disclosed to suitable applicants.
Candidate Profile
Applicants must reside in Southern Scotland or North East England and have an external sales background in asset finance.
While the salary cap is £60,000, the client is open to applications from:
- Lease brokers aspiring to become broker managers
- Individuals with vendor or sales aid experience seeking to transition into broker management
- Candidates with direct asset finance sales experience capable of generating business via lease brokers
They seek active, driven individuals with a focus on high activity and the right attitude to fit into the team. The role is home-based but requires face-to-face meetings with brokers, as every face-to-face meeting can generate three new proposals.
Applicants should have well-developed relationship management skills, a broad understanding of products like HP, sale and HP back, refinance, finance lease, etc., and sufficient credit knowledge to work with brokers to shape deals for approval.
