Join us as a General Procurement Buyer, where you'll take ownership of the Indirect category, with the flexibility to support other areas of General Procurement as needed. You'll be a key partner to stakeholders across the UK&I region, leading strategic sourcing initiatives and bringing Group Procurement strategies to life—translating global priorities into local execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Take the lead in assigned procurement categories—analysing supplier capabilities, cost structures, and market trends to shape sourcing strategies that meet Ferrero’s commercial and strategic objectives.
- Work in partnership with the Procurement Manager to drive initiatives that deliver value across the short, medium, and long term, ensuring alignment with UK Procurement Procedures and internal policies.
- Manage supplier performance through detailed scorecards, structured reviews, and service-level agreements.
- Work across departments to ensure quality, timeliness, flexibility, and cost-efficiency in every supplier relationship.
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing process—from preparing tenders and briefing suppliers to negotiating and awarding contracts, ensuring clarity and accountability every step of the way.
- Support supplier onboarding, purchase order (PO) processes, and claims resolution.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all procurement activities.
About You
- Solid track record of managing contracts and running tenders end-to-end, from preparing documentation and briefing suppliers to negotiating and awarding.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and proficiency using Microsoft tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to turn insights into strategy, with expertise in sourcing, supplier relationship management, and implementing procurement systems.
- Confidence in leading complex projects and a deep understanding of procurement processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across a global organisation.
- Proactive, results-driven team player who is customer-focused, analytical, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Sharp commercial instincts and a growth mindset, always ready to innovate and elevate performance.
