We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join the busy Finance Team at George Abbot School. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role is responsible for delivering effective financial management, ensuring strong financial control, compliance with Trust procedures, and accurate financial operations across the school.
- Oversee core accounting processes, including payroll, budget monitoring and financial reporting.
- Support strategic planning and enable senior leaders to make informed decisions.
- Line manage finance support staff and act as an escalation point for payroll and finance queries.
- Contribute to audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong financial expertise and senior-level experience. Excellent organisational and analytical skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to strict deadlines. Confident communicator capable of working collaboratively with stakeholders.
