Pay:
- Support Workers: £13.85 per hour/ £27,008 per annum (Overtime rate £15.52 per hour)
- Sessional Workers: £15.52 per hour
What does Support Work involve?
As a support worker, you will help people with learning disabilities to live safe, fulfilling, and dignified lives in supported accommodation or their own home. We have positions available across a variety of services in Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Camden, Islington, Southwark and Hammersmith & Fulham. In each of our services, we support approximately 5-10 people. We support people with a range of support needs from low to high; with old age/dementia, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), autism/mental health. We also operate outreach services for people who live more independently. We work on a rota which includes working some weekends, early and late shifts. If you prefer to work nights, we also have some services with waking night shifts. We currently only have vacancies in services where manual handling is an intrinsic and regular part of the job.
Sessional work allows you to decide when and where you work, with the option of accepting or declining any work offered by LDN London.
