Kids Can Achieve currently have vacancies for Sessional Special Needs Play Workers to work with children and young adults with learning disabilities in our service based in Harrow. Whether you have experience in childcare, education, youth work, or supporting children with SEND, we’d love to hear from you! You must have a positive attitude and be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities. Our recruitment open day will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Wednesday 4 June 2025 at: On the Recruitment Open Day you will learn more about the work we do and the career opportunities available for people who work for us. Come along to find out about more information about the support worker role. Our open day will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm. To limit the number of people on site please try and pre book your slot when registering your interest by email. The process will take no longer than 20 minutes (5 minutes to register and 15 minutes for the information session where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions). Candidates who have been successful at shortlist will be offered a 2-stage interview process. The first stage will be a short screening interview, and the second stage will be a face-to-face interview with a service user and a team manager at the service. Successful candidates who have submitted their completed application forms and completed the interview process will be offered a position which is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks; which includes enhanced DBS, two satisfactory references covering 3 years employment history and right to work in the UK checks.
