London. Hammersmith & Fulham area. Nearest tube station: Acton Central.

Contract Type

Days Full – time (37.5 hours on a rota basis – Mon-Sun) or Nights Full – time (40 hours – 4 nights per week)

Pay

Support Workers: Β£14.80 per hour / Β£28,860 per annum (Overtime rate Β£16.59 per hour)

What does Support Work involve?

  • Help people with learning disabilities to live safe, fulfilling, and dignified lives in supported accommodation or their own home.
  • Work on a rota that includes some weekends, early and late shifts; night shifts are also available.
  • Use digital apps and other systems to support independence and track progress.
  • Assist with all aspects of daily living, support complex health conditions, sensory loss and communication challenges.
  • Work with professionals and families, maintaining high communication and professionalism.
  • Be flexible to support people through the day and night.
  • Act as a team player, able to take on additional responsibilities per the key working model.
  • Undergo training provided, adhere to the company values during probation.
  • Perform manual handling as an intrinsic and regular part of the role.

  • Digital competence in using apps and systems.
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and nights.
  • High level of professionalism and strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to carry out manual handling safely.
