Your Role as a Support Worker within Learning Disabilities Services:

  • Assist with the care and support of our Young People aged 16 to 25 whilst ensuring that a homely environment is maintained.
  • Contribute to meeting each individual's physical, emotional, social and educational needs.
  • Build positive relationships with the young people and support with their development whilst ensuring that they are kept safe.
  • Work within a Multi-disciplinary Team to advocate for each individual's needs.
  • Provide positive and meaningful life experiences for the young people to develop their skills.
