You will act as the organisation's brand guardian and PR lead, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. You will lead a small team that supports the wider Marketing function and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This role will support events activity from a PR, messaging and brand perspective, ensuring alignment with communication objectives, but will not hold lead responsibility for event delivery.
DUTIES
- Line manage and support the Brand & Comms team, providing effective line management, development and support.
- Provide strategic leadership for PR, communications and brand reputation activity, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Set clear direction and frameworks for PR and communications activity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media, partners and key external stakeholders.
- Provide oversight and guidance on external communications and reputational matters, supporting appropriate messaging and responses.
- Own brand assets and guidelines, ensuring consistent and effective use across the organisation.
- Work with the Videographer to execute a video-first content strategy, supporting the transition towards increased use of video across the website and social media channels.
- Provide direction on the role of video within wider brand, PR and communications activity, ensuring alignment with messaging and audience objectives.
- Lead on the internal engagement calendar (alongside the Senior Communications Executive) working closely with the People Team.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to help support and coordinate and plan events such as LCG Charity Ball, People Conference and large conferences as well as providing PR, brand and communications support before, during and after such events.
- Work closely with the wider Marketing team in a collaborative, integrated approach.
- Manage budgets effectively and demonstrate strong return on investment.
- Apply strong project management skills to balance multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
