Learning Curve Group is seeking experienced and engaging Freelance Digital Tutors to join our Flexible Learning provision. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, classroom-based training and support to learners undertaking industry-relevant digital qualifications, including:
- Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices
- Level 3 Certificate in Coding Practices
This role is site-based and requires tutors to deliver face-to-face learning sessions, providing learners with the knowledge, skills, support, and guidance required to successfully achieve their qualifications. The ideal candidate will have recent, relevant industry experience within the digital sector and a passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face teaching sessions across the Level 3 Cyber Security Practices and Coding Practices qualifications.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes learner engagement and achievement.
- Assess learner performance and provide relevant underpinning knowledge to ensure learners meet qualification requirements.
- Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression.
- Monitor learner progress and implement support strategies to maximise achievement and completion rates.
- Identify and address barriers to learning, providing appropriate support and guidance to learners.
- Ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet awarding organisation standards and internal quality requirements.
Learner Support and Progression
- Maintain regular contact with learners and provide ongoing support throughout their learning journey.
- Encourage learner participation, motivation, and commitment to achieving their qualification.
- Support learners in setting personal and professional development goals.
- Provide exit guidance and progression advice to support future employment, further learning, or career development opportunities.
- Promote positive learner outcomes and successful progression pathways.
Quality and Compliance
- Complete all learner documentation accurately and within required timescales.
- Ensure assessment decisions are robust, valid, reliable, and fully compliant with awarding body requirements.
- Address any actions identified through quality assurance or internal moderation activities within agreed timescales.
- Attend standardisation meetings and participate in quality improvement activities as required.
- Liaise with internal teams to discuss learner progress, achievement, and any identified concerns.
- Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
Professional Practice
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and occupational competency within the digital sector.
- Engage in continuous professional development and share best practice across the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure an excellent learner experience.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of delivery and learner support.
- Adhere to company policies relating to Safeguarding, Prevent, Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Information Security.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Learning Curve Group at all times.
Essential Criteria
- Level 3 teaching qualification as a minimum (or willingness to work towards).
- Level 3 Sector qualification minimum.
