Our Adult Skills department works with adults who are further away from the employment market and supports them in gaining qualifications while boosting their confidence and other soft skills.
Learning Curve Group is seeking experienced and engaging Freelance Counselling Skills Tutors to join our Flexible Learning provision. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, classroom-based training and support to learners undertaking industry-recognised counselling qualifications. The successful candidate will deliver the Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills.
This role is site-based and requires tutors to deliver face-to-face learning sessions, providing learners with the knowledge, skills, support, and guidance required to successfully achieve their qualification. The ideal candidate will have recent, relevant experience within the counselling sector and a passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face teaching sessions across the Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills qualification.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes learner engagement, personal development, and achievement.
- Assess learner performance and provide the theoretical knowledge and practical guidance required to ensure learners meet qualification requirements.
- Monitor learner progress and implement support strategies to maximise achievement and completion rates.
- Maintain regular contact with learners and provide ongoing support throughout their learning journey.
- Complete all learner documentation accurately and within required timescales.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of counselling theory, practice, ethics, and industry developments.

As an associate tutor, you have the flexibility to choose how often you would like to teach to accommodate your other commitments. You will receive support from your Tutor Delivery Manager, starting with an in-depth onboarding process.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners. The successful applicant will be required to provide satisfactory references and prove their eligibility to work in the UK. A DBS check will also be carried out.
