Drake & Co are looking to recruit a Housing and Property Management Level 3 Apprentice. Are you energetic, organised, and ready to dive into the fast-paced world of Manchester’s student property market? We are looking for a Housing & Property Management Apprentice to join our specialist Student Lettings team. The role is to work alongside our established busy lettings team.
Student housing is unique—it’s high-energy, seasonal, and requires a personality that can balance professional property management with the vibrant needs of university life. You will support students through their entire journey, from finding their first "grown-up" house to moving out at the end of the academic year.

You will be expected to act efficiently and with integrity, showing a positive approach to work and willingness to learn. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopt a proactive approach to developing skills. The successful candidate is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities, time, problem-solving skills, and approach their role with flexibility and with the good of the company in mind.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Vibrant Marketing & Viewings: Conducting property tours for groups of students and helping them navigate the application process.
- The "Turnaround" Peak: Assisting with the intensive summer move-in/move-out period. Dealing with a range of contractors to ensure houses are cleaned, repaired, and ready for the new academic year.
- Tenant Support: Acting as a friendly, professional point of contact for students (and often their parents/guarantors) regarding tenancies and rent.
