This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing:
- Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification
- With the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 qualification at a later date
You will earn while you learn, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to build a long-term career in social care.
Salary: £21,149
Location: Various community-based settings in the North East
Contract: Full Time Apprenticeship
Essential Requirement: Due to the community-based nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. Female only. This position has a “genuine occupational requirement” covered under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975.
About the Role
You will work across a variety of cases, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs. We provide specialist, person-centred care to people living with:
- Brain injuries
- Neurological conditions
- Physical disabilities
- Spinal injuries
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health support needs
We work with people because we believe we can offer high-quality, meaningful support, never simply based on a diagnosis.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will:
- Support adults, children and young people to improve outcomes and achieve personal goals
- Be involved in team meetings to review and enhance the support provided
- Contribute to positive, measurable outcomes for the people we support
- Receive development and specialist training in areas including:
- Brain Injury Awareness
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Health
- Neurological Conditions
