Join our dedicated and inclusive team at Burton Borough School and make a real difference to the lives of young people.
We are seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our professional SEND team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with additional needs to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential within a nurturing and ambitious school environment.
Working under the guidance of our SENDCo, Operational SEND Lead and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs), you will provide tailored support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to deliver high-quality provision and contribute to the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role may also involve supporting students with personal care where required.
We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about supporting young people. Experience of working with children or young people with specific additional needs is desirable, but not essential, as training and professional development will be provided for the right candidate.
