Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Head of Finance. The role would be responsible for leading the finance team, supporting the Trust with continuous improvement of finance/business processes, maintaining a strong control environment, leading on the centralised financial processes provided to all the Trust schools and deputising for the CFO.
You will have line management responsibility of the Finance Manager in the central team, and responsibility for overseeing the work of the School Business Managers across all MAT schools. You would be the Trust’s point of contact for managing contracts and relationships with external stakeholders and leading on financial audit processes.
Your role would respond to the Trust’s needs to support the delivery of the Trust’s visions and aims, and you would work closely with the Trust Deputy CEO/CFO. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to play a key role within the Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust covering Kirklees and Calderdale. The Trust currently has 16 schools with 4 pending conversions and is expanding.
All new employees to the Trust are subject to a six-month probationary period.
