The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for two Learning Support Assistants to join our School Trust, based in Bovey Tracey Academy. Lying at the heart of the community, the Bovey Tracey Academy is situated within the historic market town of Bovey Tracey framed by the stunning backdrop of Dartmoor. Bovey Tracey is just a 30-minute drive from Exeter and under an hour from Torbay.
At Bovey we aim to provide every child with a rich and engaging curriculum; we maximise our rural location and enjoy fantastic outdoor learning including forest school areas where a wealth of natural resources makes learning fun and awe-inspiring for all children. We provide a range of experiences and opportunities that are fully rooted in our values and local community. We believe that education is about more than lessons in a classroom - itβs about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and giving every child the best possible start in life.
We are looking for two Learning Support Assistants who are inspired by our mission and want to be part of a Trust where children are at the heart of everything we do. You will play a vital role in supporting and nurturing our children, including those with Special Educational Needs, helping to remove barriers to learning so every child can flourish.
Our ideal candidates will be committed to making a profound difference, particularly for our most disadvantaged children, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and resilience they need to thrive. Experience with autism, speech and language development, and knowledge of phonics would also be an advantage, but not essential. The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification that is recognised as full and relevant by the DfE.
