Learn Academies Trust is seeking to engage a number of experienced practitioners to join our casual facilitator pool, supporting delivery across our Early Career Teacher (ECT), National Professional Qualification (NPQ) and Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-quality professional development across the Trust, supporting teachers and leaders at all stages of their career.

About the opportunity

Facilitators will support programme delivery through a combination of:

  • Face-to-face and/or online facilitation
  • Instructional coaching and mentoring
  • Supporting participants to apply evidence-informed practice
  • Contributing to high-quality participant experience and outcomes

Assignments may include session delivery, coaching, programme support, or other related activity aligned to programme needs.

Engagement basis

  • This is a casual worker engagement, not a substantive or permanent post.
  • Work is offered on an assignment-by-assignment basis, in line with programme needs.
  • There is no obligation on the Trust to offer work, and no obligation for individuals to accept assignments.
  • Engagement does not constitute an ongoing role or guaranteed level of work.

Pay

  • Paid on a day rate basis, depending on experience.
  • Holiday pay will be accrued in line with statutory requirements.

We are particularly interested in individuals who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
  • Experience of teaching and/or leadership in education settings
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring or facilitating professional learning
  • A strong understanding of evidence-informed practice and professional development
  • Experience with ECT programmes, NPQs, IITT / ITE provision would be advantageous.
