Responsibilities
- To provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children, providing creative and appropriate play and relaxation opportunities.
- To promote the club image and ethos and ensure the implementation of all club systems.
- To inform the office of any cancellations, amendments, bookings in accordance with the club's registration terms and conditions.
- To assist in the maintenance of records of members' details and information required to meet the individual needs of the children.
- To record and inform parents of any incidents or accidents relating to their children, obtaining the parent's signature on the appropriate documentation.
- Administer first aid as appropriate.
- To build and encourage club-parent partnerships, promote communication and involvement, and facilitate new ideas.
- Ensure correct levels of supervision and care at all times. Children must never be placed in a vulnerable or wanting situation at any time.
- Assist the club with promotional activities and encourage new membership.
- To perform and supervise the day-to-day organisation and operational aspects of the club to provide a safe, stimulating, fun, approachable and well-managed breakfast and after-school club.
- To fulfil all legal and statutory requirements; to contribute to and implement all club policies.
Qualifications
- Appropriate childcare qualification, or willing to train.
- Organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
- A good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks.
- Experience of working with children.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Patient, engaging, caring and creative.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Self-motivated.
- References and successful DBS/barred list check, medical clearance, proof of ID, social media checks, right to work in UK.

Employment Details
- Part-time, permanent.
- Grade 5, 12.5 hours, 39 weeks (38 weeks term time), £7,113 (actual annual).
- Working pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 3:15-5:15pm and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:15-8:45am.
- The school is open to job shares on advertised hours; indicate preferred hours in application.
